You can benefit from the services of a book coach if--

1. You want to handle editing of text yourself. We can edit text for you, but the fee structure for editing is separate from book coaching fees.
2. You will take responsbility for storing, shipping, selling, and managing your book after it is printed.
3. You are eager to learn
4. You want to save money
5. You are willing to handle all of the pre-press details.
6. You have appropriate software compatible with printers using postscript language (PageMaker, FrameMaker, InDesign, Quark)

A Griffith Publishing book coach also roams the world (electronically) looking for the best printer for your publishing project.Most of the printers we recommend are in the Midwest US, but for full-color books we will go to Korea, Singapore, or wherever to find the services you need. If you choose a printer we recommend, we handle all the technical details involved in printing and binding with the printer.

Your book coach will advise you if you need help with a book title or need additional editing services, but if you're happy with the way the book is written, the coach will probably spend most of your time together working on the page and cover design, text flow, and the opening and closing pages of your book. Indexing, table of contents, and illustrations are other common issues your coach can help you manage effectively.
